The Challenge

A strong, well-documented case.

For Third-Country nationals, Swiss permits go through quotas — preparation makes the difference.

Switzerland sets annual quotas for non-EU/EFTA citizens, and applications are reviewed at three levels (Commune, Canton, and Federal Bern). The cases that succeed are the ones where every document, every dependency, and every justification is in place from day one. We work with you and your employer to build a clear, complete file that gives the authorities everything they need to say yes.

Your Journey

How It Works.

1

Before the move.

Immigration process, school applications, orientation support, temporary accommodation planning and discovery of the different neighbourhoods and lifestyles. Together with your HR team, we anticipate each step ahead of the move to ensure a smooth and well-prepared transition to Switzerland.

2

The first week.

Arrival, temporary accommodation, move-in formalities, entrance inspection, commune registration, SIM card, bank account, utilities and internet setup — we help coordinate all the essential first steps to ensure a smooth landing from day one. A reassuring local presence for the practical details that matter most.

3

The first month.

Search for a permanent home, property visits, lease negotiations, administrative follow-up and settling-in support. From finding the right neighbourhood to organising the practical aspects of daily life, we guide you through each step to make Switzerland quickly feel like home.

4

The first three months.

School integration, healthcare, transportation, language courses, local activities and building new routines. We remain available for the questions and adjustments that naturally arise during the integration process — because successful relocation goes beyond administration.

Questions & Answers

Common Questions.

What defines a 'Highly Qualified' worker? +

Typically, individuals with a university degree, several years of professional experience, and a specific skill set that is verifiably scarce in the Swiss and EU labor markets.

What is the processing time for a non-EU permit? +

Because it requires three levels of approval (labor market, cantonal migration, federal migration), you should expect a timeline of 8 to 12 weeks.

Can non-EU entrepreneurs open a business and get a permit? +

Yes, but the barrier is high. The business must generate substantial economic interest (job creation, significant investments) for the specific canton. We assist in building these specialized business dossiers.
